Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Dishwasher fire in Tunbridge Wells
Incident details
Firefighters were called to a kitchen fire in a ground floor flat in Tunbridge Wells. Crews wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire, which is thought to have started in a dishwasher, using a hose reel. The kitchen was heavily smoke logged and sustained some fire damage. There were no casualties.
