Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Incident
100 tonnes of hay on fire near Rochester
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a fire involving approximately 100 tonnes of baled hay in New Court Road, Burham, near Rochester. One fire engine was sent to the scene and the fire was left to burn out under controlled conditions. The cause is not known at this stage.
