Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Shed fire in Gillingham garden
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a shed fire in Goudhurst Road, Gillingham. On arrival crews were faced with a shed well alight located close to the side of a semi-detached house. Crews extinguished the fire by using a hose reel jet and main jet. The shed and its contents were destroyed by the fire. The cause of the fire isn't known but it's believed to have been started deliberately.
