Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Kitchen fire at Ramsgate flat
Incident details
Firefighters were called to a fire in a fourth floor flat in Augusta Road, Ramsgate. Crews wearing breathing apparatus entered the property and extinguished the fire. All occupants were out of the property when crews arrived, and there were no reported injuries. The British Red Cross support team attended to provide practical support to the occupants.
