Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

UPDATE: Maidstone house fire
Incident details
The fire is now out and fire investigators are working at the scene to establish the cause. The occupants were outside on arrival and there were no reported injuries.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service is responding to a fire in a house in Newchurch Road, Maidstone. Four fire engines, a height vehicle and around 20 firefighters are dealing with the blaze, which is believed to have started in a bedroom at the rear of the semi-detached house.
