Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a fire in the roof area of a flat in Priory Gardens, Folkestone. Three fire engines were sent to the scene, and firefighters used two main jets to extinguish the blaze. There were no reported injuries. The cause of the fire isn't known at this time.
