Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Road crash rescue - Rochester
Incident details
A man was rescued by firefighters using hydraulic cutting equipment following a collision between two vehicles on Watling Street, Rochester. 
 
Crews stabilised the vehicles before creating space for paramedics to assess the casualty, then assisted with moving the man to a waiting ambulance.
