Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Faversham house fire
Incident details
Crews were mobilised to a house alight with smoke issuing from an upstairs window at Westgate Road, Faversham.  A television was switched on, lights could be seen in the house, but there was no answer from the property.  Firefighters using breathing apparatus searched the property and rescued a man from a bedroom who was conscious and breathing, but suffering smoke inhalation. He was treated at the scene by paramedics and taken to hospital.   The fire was dealt with using a hose reel jet. ME13 8HF.
