Incident
Edenbridge tumble dryer fire
Incident details
Firefighters attended a fire involving a tumble dryer in a laundry room. They arrived on the scene within six minutes of receiving the 999 call and found a fire extinguisher had been used to put the small fire out. Crewa used a thermal imaging camera to check for hot spots in adjacent property and spent approximately 20 minutes damping down with a hose reel and turning over. A working smoke detector raised the alarm.
