Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Woman suffered smoke inhalation from small fire in flat - Canterbury
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a fire in a flat in Godden Road. Crews used breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet to tackle the fire in the lounge of the flat, located in a two storey property. Crews also used a ventilation fan to clear the smoke from the flat. All persons were accounted for and a woman in her 50s was treated for breathing in smoke and placed in the care of paramedics.
