Firefighters tackle another chimney fire - Meopham
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a bungalow chimney fire in Rhododendron Avenue, Meopham. Crews were faced with a chimney well alight and used a hose reel jet and chimney gear to tackle the fire. 
 
ADVICE: If your property has a chimney, before you use it, it is essential to ensure it has been swept recently, inspected to ensure it is in good repair and that sparks and fumes cannot escape though any cracks.
