Local residents, Immediate Emergency Care

When someone goes into cardiac arrest, prompt action by anyone nearby could offer their only chance of survival. Would you know what to do to help save a life?

Come along to a FREE life-support awareness session being delivered this week by Sheppey firefighters at Sheppey Healthy Living Centre in Royal Road, Sheerness to find out how you could make a difference.

The fire crew will be demonstrating hands-only CPR and how to use a public access defibrillator (PAD), and will inviting people to give it a try at the centre all this week.

These familiarisation sessions are taking place from today, Monday 19 November 7pm-9pm, Tuesday to Thursday 10am to 12pm and Friday 2pm-4pm.

Booking is not required - just drop in and take away some valuable skills which really could save a life.

PADs which are available for community use in an emergency at all Kent Fire and Rescue Service's fire stations in Kent and Medway.
