Question
Do your residents require a Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan (or PEEP)?
Answer
All relevant persons within the premises require a suitable and sufficient Emergency Evacuation Plan. Where it is identified that a person is not independently able to evacuate from the premises (i.e. without assistance), they should be provided with a PEEP.

This includes:
• Residents living in your premises
• Your staff
• Contractors and visitors

All PEEPS must take into account and be supported by the premises’ fire risk assessment.
