Introduction
This summary of financial accounts shows where Kent and Medway Fire and Rescue Authority (the authority) spent its money in the financial year 1 April 2022 to 31 March 2023.
It also gives an overview of its financial position at the end of March 2023.
As well as our annual expenditure, this statement also includes information about our longer-term financial sustainability. This is important so that you know the resources we have available to provide services in the future. This summary shows you what we own and what we owe to others, and what we have put aside to make sure we can deliver services beyond this year.
