Health and Safety

Safety is at the forefront of what we do, and our health and safety team are responsible for making sure our health and safety procedures work and have a positive effect on the way KFRS is run. By working closely with all members of the service, carrying out risk assessments and helping to develop safe ways of working, the team help to make sure our staff and our customers protected. The health and safety team also provide training throughout the year for members of KFRS including the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health accredited courses.
