Update at 7.30am: Firefighters worked through the night to support people across Kent and Medway impacted by the fallout from Storm Eunice. Although the winds dropped away people were reporting weather related damage to property including fallen trees and dangerous building debris.
Parts of Kent and Medway have been issued a yellow weather warning that's in place until 6pm this evening as further strong winds are expected with heavy rain due to arrive this afternoon.
Please continue to follow necessary travel advice and keep up-to-date with guidance from the Met Office.
With strong winds expected throughout the day, we ask people to help us to help you by familiarising themselves with the relevant services needed, and to consider your call before dialling for the emergency services. If there is an immediate risk to life, always call 999.

Update at 8.30pm: Kent Fire and Rescue Service continues to support people across the county who have experienced the wrath of Storm Eunice throughout the day.
Between 9am and 6.30pm; firefighters and other specialist teams responded to around 190 incidents, the majority were weather-related.
Although the winds of the day have subsided for now, a yellow weather warning has been issued for tomorrow from 6am until 6pm as further strong winds are expected.
Please continue to follow travel advice and guidance from the MET Office. We'd also ask you to consider checking in on neighbours or loved ones who would benefit from support and reassurance. It would be helpful to give them guidance about things they can do to stay safe over the weekend of turbulent and wet weather that's on the way.
We would also like to remind everyone to please consider whether a call to the emergency services is needed. If there is an immediate risk to life, always call 999.

Update at 4.30pm: Kent Fire and Rescue Service is continuing to respond to storm-related incidents across Kent and Medway.
So far, crews have attended around 90 weather-related incidents.
