Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Fire in roof of house in Brook, near Ashford
Incident details
Firefighters are dealing with a fire in the loft space of a two-storey detached house in Hampton Lane, Brook, near Ashford. Crews wearing breathing apparatus are using a hose reel, two jets and a hydrant to tackle to fire. They are also operating a thermal imaging camera to investigate the roof space, alongside by a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear smoke.
