Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Roofing tiles blown off due to heavy winds - Hythe
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service currently have staff at Hythe pool, South Road, Hythe due to a large amount of the roof having blown off in the heavy winds. All down wind residents should stay in their homes over the next couple of hours whilst the heavy winds continue due to the risk of more of the roof blowing off.
