Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Washing machine fire in Ashford
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service responded to reports of a washing machine fire in  Loudon Way, Ashford. 
 
The fire was contained to a garage attached to a business premises. Crews in breathing apparatus used fogspike, a thermal imaging camera and a positive pressure ventilation fan to put the fire out.
