Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Garage fire in Ramsgate
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a garage fire next to a domestic property on Wellington Crescent in Ramsgate. Three fire engines and a height vehicle were sent to the scene and crews arrived to flames and smoke issuing from the garage. 
 
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used compressed air foam and main jets to tackle the blaze. No casualties were reported and the cause is not yet known.
