Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Single car crash in Gravesend
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to the scene of a crash involving a single car on Halfpence Lane, Cobham, Gravesend. 
 
Crews were faced with a complex scene involving a car on its side, wedged against a tree. Crews stabilised the car and used hydraulic cutting and spreading equipment to remove the boot of the car and create space to access a trapped casualty. 
 
Crews successfully freed the casualty who was left in the care of SECAmb.
