Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Field fire in Faversham
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to the scene of a field fire on Workhouse Road in Faversham. 
 
Five fire engines and an all-terrain vehicle were sent to the scene and crews arrived to large plumes of smoke and a field of stubble alight. Firefighters used hose reel jets, beaters and flexi-packs to extinguish the blaze before damping down any remaining hotspots. No casualties were reported and the cause of fire is not yet known.
