Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Incident
Multiple vehicle collision closes M2 until 0600 on 03/12/14
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a multiple vehicle road crash including an HGV on the M2 between junctions 6 and 7 at Brenley Corner (Faversham / Boughton under Blean). No people were trapped. Firefighters assisted paramedics in delivering first aid. Three people were placed in the care of paramedics. Crews helped make the area safe. 
 
The M2 will remain closed in both directions between junctions 6 and 7 until 0600 on Wednesday 3 December 2014.
