Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Car in ditch in Tenterden
Incident details
Firefighters helped to release a woman, thought to be in her fifties, who was trapped in a car that had become stuck in a ditch in Appledore Road, Tenterden.  Crews used two short extension ladders to access the ditch and rescue the woman, who was passed in to the care of SECAmb
