Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Update: Field fire near Maidstone
Incident details
Update at 13:10 - Crews have extinguished a field fire in Leeds near Maidstone. At its height, four fire engines were on the scene, together with the technical rescue unit. Crews used three hose reel jets, flexi packs, beaters, and a fogging unit to tackle the blaze. There were no reported casualties and the cause isn’t yet known.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service is responding to a fire in a field of standing corn close to Burberry Lane, Leeds near Maidstone. Two fire engines are currently at the scene.
