Derelict building fire in Folkestone

The derelict building fire in Folkestone is now out. Crews wearing breathing apparatus used main jets and hose reel jets to tackle the blaze, which had spread to all three floors of the property. No casualties were reported and the cause is now being investigated.
Around 40 firefighters are tackling a blaze in a derelict building in Radnor Park Road, Folkestone. Kent Fire and Rescue Service's Emergency Control Centre was alerted to the fire at 8.38pm and crews were quickly on the scene. A command support unit and height vehicle are also in attendance.
Fire crews wearing breathing apparatus are using a main jet and hose reels to fight the fire and are carrying out a search of the property. There are no reports of any casualties.
