Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Fire in wheelie bins spread to shop window
Incident details
Firefighters attended a fire that destroyed four wheelie bins at the rear of a property in Brockman Road, Folkestone. The fire spread to two window of a nearby property used as a hairdressers. Crews used a hose reel jet to put out the fire and a thermal imaging camera to check inside the building for fire spread. The cause of the fire is not known.
