Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Six car crash - M2
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a road traffic crash involving six cars on the M2 between junctions 4 and 5 coast bound. Crews used hydraulic rescue equipment to free a woman in her 90's who was extracted on a longboard. 16 other people involved in the road traffic collision were assessed by paramedics but there were no serious injuries.
