Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Dover house fire
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a house fire in Leighton Road, Dover just after 3am. Two fire engines attended the first arriving within three minutes of receiving the 999 call. 
 
Two people were led to safety by firefighters and given precautionary checks by South East Coast Ambulance Service. Four other people were also assessed at the scene. 
 
A hose reel jet and foam was used to extinguish the fire. 
 
The cause of the fire is not yet known but is being investigated.
