Incidents

Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Flooding at Canterbury flat
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of flooding at a flat in St Thomas Hill, Canterbury. 
 
Two fire engines attended and crews used a light portable pump to clear the water from the home and make the scene safe. South East Water also attended. 
 
All of the residents were able to leave property safely and a member of the KFRS Volunteer Response Team (VRT) attended to provide assistance.
