Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Fire at commercial premises in Ashford
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a fire at a commercial premises in Sandyhurst Lane, Ashford. 
 
Three fire engines attended and crews wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets and compressed air foam to extinguish the flames, which broke out in a machinery store. 
 
It’s believed the fire started accidentally. 
 
No casualties were reported.
