Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Garden fire in Aylesford
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a garden fire in Forstal Road, Aylesford. 
 
Two fire engines attended and crews used main jets to extinguish the flames, which had spread to fencing and two cars parked nearby. Two other cars were damaged as a result of the heat. 
 
No casualties were reported. 
 
The cause is not yet known.
