Update (3) on Sevenoaks house fires

Attendance to this incident was reduced to three fire engines at 12.38pm and to one fire engine at 1.44pm. One crew remains at the scene making final check tot he properties. All road closures have now been lifted. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
Firefighters remain on the scene of a fire in Harrow Road, Knockholt. Crews wearing breathing apparatus worked hard to quickly contain the fire, using fog spike, main jets, hose reels and water from hydrants, as well as a height vehicle. One house was severely damaged by fire and heat, however crew managed to successfully stop the blaze spreading further than the roof of the neighbouring property. Firefighters are continuing to salvage property and damp down remaining hotspots. The British Red Cross victim support unit and KFRS's volunteer response team are offering support to local residents. Kent Police and a local authority building inspector are on the scene. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
Firefighter have surrounded a fire involving two adjoining houses on Harrow Road, Knockholt. Six fire engines remain in attendance and a height vehicle is also being used. Two casualties were treated at the scene after breathing in smoke and were passed into the care of SECAmb. A dog was rescued from one of the properties and was given oxygen therapy at the scene with a specialist pet oxygen mask, before being taken to a vet.
Crew are now carrying out salvage operations and extinguishing remaining pockets of fire. Kent Police is also in attendance. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
Road closures are in place at Harrow Road and the junction with Park Road.
