Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Industrial waste fire in Rochester
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to an industrial premises in Clipper Close, on Medway City Estate, Rochester, after a large amount of waste caught alight. 
 
Seven fire engines and a height vehicle were sent to the scene and crews used hose reel jets to extinguish the fire. 
 
No casualties were reported. 
 
The cause is believed to be accidental.
