Kent Fire and Rescue Service tackled a fire affecting a group of outbuildings on Granary Court Road in Smeeth, Ashford. Four fire engines and a bulk water carrier were sent to the scene, and crews wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets, main jets and compressed air foam to extinguish the blaze. No casualties were reported, and the cause has not yet been established.
