Kent Fire and Rescue Service was sent to the scene of a shed fire on Toby Road in Romney Marsh. Two fire engines attended the incident, and the shed was fully alight on arrival, with flames spreading to an adjoining fence. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to tackle the flames and prevent the fire from spreading to a nearby property. One person was passed into the care of South East Coast Ambulance Service for precautionary checks. The cause is not yet known.
