Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a roof alight at a house in Tainter Road, in Hadlow, Tonbridge.
Three fire engines and a height vehicle were sent to the scene, and crews wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets and fire extinguishers to put out the flames.
No casualties were reported.
It’s believed the fire started accidentally due to an electrical fault.
