Update at 3.12pm: 

A building fire in Bockhanger Court, in Kennington, Ashford, is now out and the incident has been reduced to two fire engines and a height vehicle. 

No injuries have been reported, and the cause is not yet known. 

Initial update: 

Kent Fire and Rescue Service is responding to reports of a building fire in Bockhanger Court, in Kennington, Ashford.

Four fire engines and a height vehicle are in attendance, and crews wearing breathing apparatus are using hose reel jets and covering jets to extinguish a fire involving a commercial premises. A flat above the property has also been affected.

Other homes and businesses within the building have been evacuated as a precaution.

No injuries have been reported.
