House fire in Herne Bay

Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a fire at a house in pier avenue, Herne Bay.
Two fire engines attended, and crews wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the flames using a hose reel jet.
One person was handed into the care of SECAmb paramedics after sustaining minor burns to their head.
The cause is not yet known.
