Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a kitchen fire at a commercial premises in Sun Street, Canterbury.
Four fire engines attended and crews wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets and main jets to extinguish the fire.
Three people at the scene were treated for suspected smoke inhalation. No other injuries were reported.
It’s believed the fire was caused accidentally by an electrical fault.
