Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to Westmarsh, Canterbury after fire accidentally broke out in the engine compartment of a camper van at a holiday park. The fire also spread to a hedge.A man was initially given oxygen therapy by firefighters for the effects of breathing in smoke after discovering the blaze. He was then handed him into the care of South East Coast Ambulance Service.Fire crews wearing breathing apparatus, used a high pressure hose reel and main jet to put the fire out. They left the scene at 7.35pm.
