Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a crash on M20 coast-bound between Junction 1 for the Swanley Interchange and Junction 2 for Wrotham. 

Two fire engines were sent to the scene and crews helped one person from the car, who was passed into the care of SECAmb paramedics. 

While responding to the incident, another vehicle collided with a stationary fire engine. Two firefighters were given precautionary checks at the scene by SECAmb paramedics. 

Motorists are advised to check for traffic updates before travelling towards the affected area.
