Update at 9.45am on 17 July:
A fire at a football club off Queenborough Road in Minster-on-Sea, Sheerness, is now out and crews have left the scene.
It's believed the blaze was caused accidentally when a bonfire spread to two containers and two sheds at the premises.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus used compressed air foam to extinguish the blaze and stop the flames from spreading further. They also managed to save a wooden pavilion from being severely damaged.
No injuries were reported.
Update at 11.05pm:
People living near to Queenborough Road in Minster-on-Sea, Sheerness, are no longer advised to close windows and doors due to smoke coming from an earlier fire.
Three fire engines remain at the scene, where it's believed a bonfire spread to two containers and a wooden pavilion.
No injuries have been reported.
