Kent Fire and Rescue Service is currently responding to a gas leak caused by a vehicle colliding with a gas line on Bullockstone Road in Herne Bay.

Two fire engines are currently in attendance. If you're in the surrounding area, you may notice the smell of gas, but rest assured our crews are working alongside Kent Police and SGN to ensure the scene remains safe.

The person involved in the crash has been assessed by SECAmb paramedics. One property and a caravan site have been evacuated as a precaution.
