Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a large amount of undergrowth alight at Cinderhill Wood Nature Reserve in Tonbridge on Friday 18 April.
Six fire engines, a bulk water carrier, and two all-terrain vehicles attended, and crews extinguished the fire using hose reel jets. Firefighters have revisited the site this morning (Saturday 19 April) to ensure there are no remaining hotspots.
There were no reported injuries and the cause is not yet known.
