Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) was called a house fire in Knights Road, Hoo, Rochester.

Three fire engines attended, and crews, wearing breathing apparatus, tackled a fire in the roof using a hose reel jet. 

KFRS’ Volunteer Response Team also attended to provide support to affected residents, who were safely outside upon arrival. 

There were no reported injuries, and the cause is believed to be linked to an electrical fault with a bathroom light.
