Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a person in vehicle stuck in mud, on the riverbank near Knight Road, in Strood.
Three fire engines, a water safety unit, and height vehicle attended. Crews rescued the woman from the vehicle, and she was handed into the care of SECAmb paramedics.
The vehicle was recovered from the mud. Kent Police also attended.
