Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a garage fire on McKenzie Road in Chatham. Two fire engines were sent to the scene and crews wearing breathing apparatus used compressed air foam, hose reel jets and water from a hydrant to tackle the blaze and prevent the fire spread. No casualties were reported and the cause is believed to be accidental.
