ETHANE - tell us

Exact location
Provide us with an exact location of the fire. You can do this by either downloading the What3words app or using the standard Ordnance Survey Grid reference.

Type of incident
Tell us the type of emergency or incident - for example a fire in a building - and tell us briefly what is happening

Hazards
Tell us if there are hazards, risks or immediate threats such as fertilisers, straw and hay etc. If the emergency services' arrival may affect animals (for example horses) can they be secured away?

Access
Tell us the best route and where places are for emergency vehicles to access your premises. Tell us about restrictions such as narrow roads or gates, if they're locked and what the ground is like.

Number of casualties
If there are casualties, give us details of their injuries, and if there are any people or animals trapped or at risk.

Emergency services
When you call, remember to say which emergency services you need and if any are already there. If animals are involved, consider if you need to call your vet.
