Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Overturned HGV - Romney Marsh
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to an overturned HGV in a water-filled ditch on Tillery Lane. Crews used a 13.5 metre ladder to assist the SECamb Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) to evacuate the driver from the vehicle. The driver was placed in the care of paramedics.
